San Cataldo is a coastal town on the Adriatic Sea, part of the Municipality of Lecce.

San Cataldo has been a seaside resort since Roman times, one of its most important places is the Molo di Adriano, which can be located at the lighthouse.

To the south, the territory of San Cataldo borders the Municipality of Vernole and the Le Cesine nature reserve.
