Porto Cesareo

Porto Cesareo is a charming Italian seaside village with lots to see and do. It is located in Salento on the east coast of Italy and is known for its crystal clear waters, pristine beaches and delicious seafood dishes. One of the main attractions of Porto Cesareo is the Isola dei Conigli, a nature reserve in front of the port. Here, visitors can enjoy beautiful views of the island's rocky cliffs, lush greenery, and colorful wildflowers.

The city also has many lively fishmongers where tourists can buy fresh and tasty fish directly from the local fishermen. For those who wish to explore further afield, there is Le Dune beach further north in the direction of Torre Lapillo. This sandy spot offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, as well as plenty of opportunities to relax or enjoy some water activities like swimming and snorkelling. After a day exploring the many sights and sounds of Porto Cesareo, visitors can dine in one of the local restaurants or relax in one of the cozy cafés.

The whole coast up to the Porto Selvaggio Regional Park is part of the Porto Cesareo Marine Protected Area (AMP).
